Events and entertainment increase the appeal of a tourist destination to tourists. The number and scale of events organised each year in New York are many and varied. There is always something for everyone.

Broadway and Times Square is the focus of the entertainment district, but entertainment can be found throughout the city virtually every night of the year.

Clubs in Greenwich Village and Soho are popular. More cultural entertainment can be found at Carnegie Hall.
