Many of New York’s most famous attractions are built attractions. When you say the words ‘New York’ people immediately think of :

Museums and Galleries
It is important to appreciate that New York has much to offer art lovers and those interested in museums. Not every visitor to New York will head for the top of the Empire State Building followed by a visit to Macy’s and a Big Mac!
Some of the most famous museums in the world are situated in New York.
On opposite sides of Central Park there is the American Museum of Natural History and Metropolitan Museum of Art.
One of the best collections of dinosaurs can be found in the American Museum of Natural History.
The area to the east of Central Park is known as ‘museum mile’ and contains a number of the most famous museums and galleries including the Museum of the City of New York, the Smithsonian National Museum of Design, the Whitney Museum and the Guggenheim Museum.
The Guggenheim Museum is especially famous for the unusual design of its building.
