Land-based Activities
Sealyham offers a selection of five land-based activities:
- Rope courses
- Climbing
- Archery
- Hill walking
- Survival training
Activity 1
Prepare a presentation on the five land-based activities provided at Sealyham.
For each of the five activities:
- give a brief description of the activity
- select appropriate images from the image bank to show the activity
- identify the potential hazards involved.
The cliffs around the Pembrokeshire Coast provide lots of opportunities for rock climbing.
Activity 2
Complete the table of hazards associated with rock climbing.
As with all outdoor activities, it is vital to Sealyham that the instructors employed are suitably qualified.

Activity 4

Survival training activities offered at Sealyham are similar to other activities offered at other adventure centres. Very occasionally, accidents happen and in exceptional circumstances there might be loss of life.
