Built Attractions
It is important to understand that Malta developed as one of the first ‘mass tourism’ destinations when tourists were less demanding than they are today. The range of day and half day cruises around the Maltese islands can also be classed as attractions.
Many visitors choose to take at least one of these cruises around the Grand Harbour in Valetta or to Gozo and Comino. These are popular because they give tourists the opportunity to understand the history of Valetta and to see the wonderful coastline of Malta.
Also, a number of attractions have been developed which focus on Malta’s history. These include The Malta Experience, the Malta at War Museum and the Aviation Museum. |
