Teacher’s note

This case study is designed to be used by students following Level 2 courses, such as GCSE Leisure and Tourism. The Additional Research sections are designed for students on level 3 courses, such as A Level Travel and Tourism to work independently and extend their knowledge.

Both sites are available in English and have winter and summer versions, which are easily interchangeable.

The Portes du Soleil site has a number of video clips. Both sites have links to web cams in the area.
