Unit 4 - Assignment 10 - Cash flow forecast spreadsheet

You are given the following information about Variety Socks from July to December:

• They have a cash injection of £14,000 in July
• Sales revenue starts in October at £2,000 and rises to £2,500 over the next two months
• Setting up costs are £2,000 in July
• £2,000 is spent on advertising/mail order in Sept and Nov, £6,500 in October
• Other costs are £500 each month

Click onto the spreadsheet template below and construct the cash flow forecast. The formulas are put in already. Watch the totals change as you put in the figures. If your closing balance for December is £5,500 you know that you have done it correctly. When you have finished write down at the bottom of the sheet how net cash flow and closing balance have been calculated and then print out the spreadsheet.
