On the Religious Studies GCSE exams, the c) questions ask for explanations.
Explanations need to include the word ‘because’ – it is difficult to explain something well without using this word at least several times.
Use the religion(s) or religious traditions you have learned about to add the explanations to the following statements. Don’t forget that in the Philosophy/Ethics c) questions, you will be asked to explain from two religions’ perspectives, but the examples below are just for you to practice the skill of explaining.
Remember, try and use ‘because’ whenever it is sensible to do so. Below is an example.
