It is important an individual understands exactly what is expected of them in their job role, and in achieving goals or outcomes, but remember not to act beyond their job scope or competence. If an individual has any concerns about what is expected of them, they should talk to their manager. An individual should also understand exactly what is expected of everyone else. If they're not sure, they should ask. It is far better, and much safer, to ask for guidance or help, than to carry out tasks which are beyond their role, responsibilities or level of experience and expertise. Sources of support within their workplace include the individuals and colleagues they work with on a day-to-day basis. They will be aware of their skills and developmental needs and happy to help them develop their skills, knowledge and practice.

Byddant yn ymwybodol o sgiliau ac anghenion datblygiadol yr unigolyn ac yn fwy na pharod i'w helpu i feithrin ei sgiliau, ei wybodaeth a'i ymarfer.
