Germany in Transition

This is a guide to assist with printing from all major browsers, as well as mobile device to a PDF document format. Devices may require additional installation and alternative apps can be sort to aid in the capture of PDF formatted documentation. This guide is specific to WJEC & Eduqas resources.

Browsers

Google Chrome

1. Change the "Destination" from your normal printer to "Save as PDF"
2. Then, simply click "Save" and choose a destination (i.e. desktop)

Internet Explorer

1. Select "Adobe PDF" from "Select Printer"
2. Then, simply click "Print" and choose a destination (i.e. desktop)

Microsoft Edge

1. Select "Adobe PDF "rom" Select Printer"
2. Then, simply click "Print" and choose a destination (i.e. desktop)

Safari

1. Select "PDF" drop-down at the bottom of the print dialogue.
2. Select "save as PDF" from the drop-down, this will open the "save as" dialogue
3. Then, simply click "Save" and choose a destination (i.e. desktop)

Mozilla Firefox

1. Select "Adobe PDF" from "Printer Name" drop-down
2. Then, simply click "OK" and choose a destination (i.e. desktop)

Opera

1. Change the "Destination" from your normal printer to "Save as PDF"
2. Then, simply click "Save" and choose a destination (i.e. desktop)

Devices

Apple iPad or iPhone

1. The print dialogue will open.
2. Pinch outwards on the preview area. A pinch out gesture means putting two fingers close together and then spreading them apart. This will expand the preview to fill the screen.
3. In full screen preview mode, tap the "Share button" in the toolbar at the top-right of the screen. This presents the system share sheet with export options corresponding to the apps you have installed.
4. To save the PDF as a file in "copy to iBooks" or any other app of choice.

Samsung Galaxy

1. Click on the "menu tab" within your browser of choice or
2. Click on "Share", and then select "Print"
3. Select "Save as PDF" from the drop-down
4. Then, simply click "Save" and choose a destination on device
