As far as morbidity rates are concerned some sociologists argue the statistics may not be totally reliable because people do not always report if they are sick. Women are more likely to go to the doctors than men. The morbidity figures for women are likely to be much higher because they may not go the doctors if they have children to care for. However they may go more because of their caring roles, taking children and accompanying elderly relatives.
