What is a homophone?
Two or more words that sound the same but are spelled differently and have different meanings.
This is a pair of pears.

• You have 20 seconds for each sentence.
• Click on the correct word at the bottom of the screen.
Draw what you see.
• Split into teams with a piece of A3 paper per team.
• One member of the team should be the drawer and the other members of the team need to sit with their backs to the screen.
• Once your teacher clicks start, you have thirty seconds to draw what you see.
• The winning team will be the ones to guess the word first.
• Click new word to have another set of words generated.
Story starters.
• Split into teams and take it in turns to come to the board.
• You have fifteen seconds to continue the story starter using the homophone on the screen.
• Your teacher will award points for the best starter.
