Towards the back of the magazine, Kerrang! has what they call “a 2-page guide to everything you need to buy”. It showcases what the magazine believes to be “Must Haves”. For each item, there is an image, a bit of info, a price and where to buy. This page is not an advert in the strict sense but it is certainly advertising items and, although it may appear to be editorial content carefully chosen because the audience might like it, often it is actually a matter of the magazine promoting brands and products to secure future advertising contracts with them.
