Romans 1:17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”	Romans 1:17 God's way of putting people right shows up in the acts of faith, confirming what Scripture has said all along: "The person in right standing before God by trusting him really lives."
In the good news message, God’s perfection is shown to us – and given to us only and totally through our trust in God, as it is written in the Bible “those given this right standing by God shall live solely by trusting Him”.
Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,	Romans 5:1 By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us - set us right with him, make us fit for him - we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus.
Therefore as we have been put right in the sight of God solely through trusting Him, we are no longer enemies of God but reconciled through Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.	Ephesians 2:8-9 Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It's God's gift from start to finish! We don't play the major role. If we did, we'd probably go around bragging that we'd done the whole thing!
God has made us safe through his free gift and generosity, solely because we trust Him – we bring nothing to it, it is pure generosity – not because of anything we do to deserve it, so we cannot brag.
Galatians 2:16 6 know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.	Galatians 2:16 We know very well that we are not set right with God by rule-keeping but only through personal faith in Jesus Christ. How do we know? We tried it - and we had the best system of rules the world has ever seen! Convinced that no human being can please God by self-improvement, we believed in Jesus as the Messiah (special one sent by God) so that we might be set right before God by trusting in him, not by trying to be good.
You must realise that we aren’t put right with God by things we do which correspond to the law (rules and codes of the Old Testament Torah) but by trusting Jesus. This is what we’ve done – trusting only Christ and not the law to make us right with God, for by doing what the law says alone no-one is acquitted in the court of God.
James 2:24 You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.	James 2:24 Is it not evident that a person is made right with God not by a barren faith but by faith fruitful in works?
Understand this: anyone is counted as being guiltless and in a right relationship with God by the actions they perform, and not just by trusting Him.
