What is the difference between humility and humiliation?
What does the following verse from St Paul mean: ‘he humbled himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him’ (Philippians 2:8).
One translation of ‘humbled himself’ is ‘emptied himself’. Emptied himself of what?
