NOUN PHRASES
A phrase is a group of words that forms a unit smaller than a sentence and normally does not contain a finite verb.
A noun phrase is, simply, a noun on its own or in a group with its modifiers.
Create five noun phrase sandwiches by selecting a determiner, a pre-modifier, a noun and a post-modifier.
Then drag your sandwich to the checkout to print out your noun phrase receipt.
